Kallis Foundation Supports Young Musicians
Albert & Trudy Kallis presented with YMF Humanitarian Award
The Kallis Foundation is a major supporter of the Young Musicians Foundation (YMF) which promotes the classical music tradition by nurturing the personal, academic, and artistic development of youth ages 8 – 25. For almost six decades ago, YMF has been offering opportunities for youth of all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds to develop their abilities and passions for music.
In 2013, Albert and Trudy Kallis were honored at the Young Musicians Foundation Annual Gala at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles and presented with the YMF Humanitarian Award. The evening featured John Williams, one of the world’s most celebrated composers and conductors leading the Young Musicians Foundation’s Debut Orchestra in a program of selections from many of his most popular and beloved film scores.
